Born in September 22, 1922, in Dvinsk, Daugavpils
Graduated Riga’s Medical Institute in 1950.
Received his MSc in Internal Medicine in the same Institute in 1962, and MD in Infectious Diseases in 1970.
Received a diploma of a professor in immunology science from PSSR Higher Attestation Commission in 1978.
Acted as the head of immunology department of Riga’s Med. Institute in 1969 – 90.
During that time he was involved in research and development of innovative approaches in the fields of immunodeficiency, immunopathology and immunoregulative – therapy, particularly in liver diseases and acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS).
Prof. Veksler is an author and co – author of five monographs and more than 100 publications on various liver immunopatology and AIDS, as also an author of over 50 patents.
In the last few year Prof. Veksler prepared monographs from the philosophy field, including “The Contribution of Jewish Genius in the World Civilization”, and some others.
In 1991 time he got elected as the President of beneficial Jewish society “Linas Hazedek”, which helped poor and unable people with a hospice and additional services.
In 1993 he received the honor titled of MD habilitation of Latvian Med. Academy, Riga.
In 1993 he immigrated to Jerusalem, Israel. Since then he’s involved in research of Judaism’s philosophy.
Currently he studies the issue of transformation of the idea of a tribal God hostile to other faiths into a modern symbolic pantheistic God of nature, reconciling various faith, and a purposive wisdom guide of human being in our uncertainty reality, and life – belt for survival.
Currently he lives near Jerusalem, Israel – in the town of Maale Adumim.
